The company is now ready to hit the stores with a new name and now it is Matsunichi. Recently, during the announcement of the new name, the company has also announced its new tablet called the MarquisPad MP 977. Let us see what features Matsunichi has to offer with its new tablet.
Design and Display
The device flaunts a slim design along with powerful dual core high-performance processor. It measures 9.5 x 7.5 x 0.49 inch and weighs 1.6 lb. The tab offers a wide display with good resolution which makes it an interesting gadget among the younger generation. The physical dimensions of the tab are also quite impressive. It comes with 9.7 inches touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 pixel screen resolution. It has 132 ppi pixel density with multi touch display.
Processor and Memory
Apart from a nice display, the processor of the tab is quite efficient as well. The device comes with a faster dual core processor and a 1.2 Ghz dual core TI chipset along with 1 GHz DDR2 memory. It also includes 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 2 GB internal memory and a micro SD card slot that supports up to 32 GB of memory expansion. A 2GB memory card comes pre-installed in the device.

MarquisPad MP 977 tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which comes with various pre installed functions. The Android ICS platform ensures that users do not need to compromise on performance. The 4000 mAh battery provides enough battery backup. It offers a usage time of around 5 hours with a single charge.

The gadget is also equipped with the Wi Fi internet access and full bluetooth connectivity (Bluetooth 2.1 along with EDR). It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. MarquisPad MP977 boasts a VGA front facing camera which allows you to take photos just for the name sake as the quality is very poor. The camera supports video calling options. MarquisPad MP977 will be available in the stores in 3 standard color options including Silver, Black & Bronze. The price of this stylish tablet with colorful outfits is expected to be around Rs. 13,000 or 249 US dollars. For such good features, it appears to be a good value for money deal. The tab is scheduled for release in the first week of June 2012.
